Year 5 go to Uni
June 2010
In June 2010, some very lucky children in Year 5 had the wonderful opportunity to visit Sussex University in Brighton, East Sussex. Mr O’Shea, Hayley and Louise accompanied them on this exciting trip which allowed the children to experience what university life is like. Students at the university gave us an insightful tour of the campus and showed us the different lecture theatres. We even got to see where they lived within the halls of residence. The children came home with a very positive view of further education and seemed inspired to work hard in order to be given this opportunity in later life.
