International Evening
June 2011
On Tuesday 14th June it was our annual International Evening. Many of our parents kindly brought food that is traditional to their country for everyone to share. Children from nursery to Year 6 took part in a range of performances in the playground. The wonderful entertainment included African drumming and dancing, street dance, singing, cello and violin playing and Bollywood and Turkish dancing. The evening finished with a fashion show in which children showed the audience their international dress. Many thanks to everyone involved in what was another incredibly successful International Evening.
